New to this forum

Hello,

I found this forum online today through Google. For a few years now, I have owned a Nikon D5000. I have always wanted to learn more about it. However, I am a mom to 3 little kids, a wife to a husband who is still a kid at heart 1247 and I work fulltime. So my dream has always ended up on the back burner, but today I have decided I need to make and find time to learn about my camera.

Maybe one day I will actually be able to take some beautiful pictures!

I love seeing photographs and capturing what I see, which usually end up being my kids. It is just that I have been using the automatic setting on my camera and I know I can do much more with it. That is why I am excited I found this forum. I am hoping to learn and have some fun along the way.
