The first shot is a refreshing change from the close up flower shots. The composition is beautiful and the colors really compliment each other.

Thanks! I signed up for one of those Lepp Institute seminars at a local photo shop. I couldn't go so I sent a friend. He told me all about it and one of the ideas from the seminar was to put flowers or objects on the lens and take photos. The camera wouldn't quite focus but the effect was kind of cool.
