Hello, I have a new carbon fiber tripod legs with ball head. It's not hi-end stuff, but I needed something lighter then my metal tripod, it weight's a ton.
Since having my lower spinal injury, I hav'nt done anything but take meds and feel sorry for myself.I'm tried of that.
I stared learning about photography in high school. when I enrolled in the yearbook. The man who had the yearbook contract took me under his wing. I learned b&w processing in his studio's lab. I frist started doing my schools pictures and when I showed a passion for photography he gave me a part time job doing lab work and shooting yearbook pics for his contracted yearbook schools.
I went to school at Humbolt State in Northern California. I would do part-time work for area newspapers while going to school. In the summers I would work for the state parks. Spending summers in the Redwoods was unbeliveable. I came home in my senior year. My Mother had contracted cancer. I spent The next ten years working for mid-sized photolabs and helping my father take care of my mother. I worked at a camera store where I was able to get a special offer from Hasselblad for employees to purchase a custom built camera at a fraction of the cost. I was doing part-time work a photo lab when I fell off a high second story injuring 5 lower discs of my spine.
