My name is Leo and I would like to say couple of words about an image sharing web community of a new kind which has not existed in the Internet until now.
It is called Zoomarium (www.zoomarium.com) and it is a hybrid between image sharing and Google Maps.
Imagine a large plane square with the side of, say 10 km on which millions of photos are laying. Imagine also that people can freely levitate above this square ascending, descending and moving horizontally with any desired speed. You can get as high from the ground or as close to any particular photo on the ground as you wish.
This is how Zoomarium works. Browsing the content is done exactly in the same way as in Google Maps. Everyone can place his or her images at any location; this is completely for free and no advertisement exists on the site.
Once you placed your image, you can send link to it to your friend (exactly as you do this in Google Maps) when you want to send link to some location. You can add your images at any desired resolution.
