New Zealand Snowsports!

I spent a season down in Queenstown, New Zealand. On a couple of occasions i spend the day "walking" the slopes taking pictures of fellow snow lovers . I am in no way a pro with special access and anybody can just walk up the slopes and snap away. Its a great way to get a goggle tan as well :er:

3 and 4 are my favourites, sharp, great colour and show the location beautifully. Great shots, thanks for sharing.

Great pictures. I have to agree with Wozza on 3 & 4 (adding in 5 though). I love the way it almost makes the rail look like its on the edge of a canyon.


(These pictures just made me depressed. I'm moving to the Middle East in a few weeks. No riding for me this year.)

Just goes to show that top gear doesnt make the shot, the photographer does.

Conisder as well these are all taken on a Nikon D40, a a very low end 6mp dslr camera. One thing alot of people over look about snow shots is the light is glorious (i.e very high shutter speeds) so tack sharp shots from all pretty much all len's (yes including kit ones :lmao
