Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Ok so I thought I was an ok photographer... obviously nothing amazing has come out of me... I put in numerous amounts of hours a day in looking up photoshop tutorials so that I can try and improve my pics but now I'm realizing I'm an idiot because its probably just me.

I only have a Canon Rebel T1i (which is my life!) because that's all I can afford right now and its my baby!

I see all the pics that are on here and they are so clean and don't have the noise that my pictures seems to have... how do you get that? Is it because my camera isn't the best? Or more likely is it the fact that I still suck right now?

Thanks for the help :) and I'm so glad I found you today!

Well, Amanda, if you post some of the pics you are unsatisfied with, we might be able to point you in the right direction. Don't worry, we all started in the same place you are at.

do you have any pictures you can post so we can see what were dealing with here?, itll be much easier to help you with if you do

Odds are, you're shooting in full auto mode, which means the camera is choosing the ISO for you. Learn to take control of the camera and shoot manual. This lets YOU decide the ISO, as well as the shutter speed, aperture, white balance etc.

Like every one else is saying, post a picture. Also, as 480sparky said, learn to take control of your camera. This may be the single best piece of advice a person can be given while in the early stages of photography.

The bottom of my screen where I can reply says that I cannot post attachments... anyone know how to change that and I will post some

please help

We need more photos of your friend in a different color of lingerie...THEN we can help you. Mmmkay???

Well, let's take a look at #4...it looks like the shutter speed is a bit slow, and that the camera might be moving a little bit. At the same time, it looks like her head is turning, and she is blurring a little bit, which is called subject motion blur. Kind of difficult to tell. SHooting right toward a window while indoors will usually cause the window to go "white", which it does here, and the light coming from the window is coming around her head and hair, and is causing your lens to flare a little bit--that is that slightly hazy whitish look you see at the top of the photo.

I LIKE the underwater image--that's imaginative, and thre lighting is a fairly good match. A little bit of refinement in PS,and it'd be a real winner.

Image number 1--both of her hands are cut off, and she is a bit too far to the right hand side of the frame. Also, the exposure favors the lower tones, and the highlight areas, on her bust and arm, are blowing out pretty badly. I'd say, keep plugging away at it. Maybe look into building yourself a large 42x72 inch white reflector out of PVC pipe from Lowe's hardware, and some white ripstop nylon from a fabric store. Or even a white bedsheet as a fabric--you need to reflect some light in to the shadowed side when using window lighting, to bring the shadowed values "up", and closer to the highlight values.

ok thanks! Is there a way that I can fix the exposure of her arm and chest in photoshop that you know of?

Oh I also thought of something else... can you tell me the different uses for the white umbrellas and black umbrellas? when should you use which?
