Now if I ever get an approval from the chief of staff, I can get some real 4 x 5in film to try out in my Cambo. I've proven to myself that it works fine through a darkroom paper cheat so it's full throttle time! In preparation for use of 4 x 5 and developing of it, I've devised DIY processing tanks made from SS water containers. With minor changes I now have light tight tanks I can use for the three chemistry steps in my B&W work I do. I've tested this mod by putting a scrap piece of enlarging paper in the tank, closing and taking the tank into daylight. After processing that sample, I saw no streaks. Thumbs up!! Going forward, I'll start by trying a 1:1 print to satisfy myself followed by a contact print as a test of quality I can get.
