I spent last weekend in Joliet IL at the NHRA Rt66 event. NHRA Dragracing is always great but the weather did not cooperate. Of the large group of people that went, the youngest were Mike and Ed, about 23 years old each. They were out to prove that they could hang with the older guys. Rain could not defeat them.
I took this pic while hiding in the back of a van. We laughed so hard watching these kids cook in the rain. Then they ran over to the van, handed out burgers, and ran back into the rain. Then they ran back to the van, handed out sausages, then back into the rain. Talk about troopers, they can definitely hang.
