Hum.. it is going to tough .. I will try to take few shots with different exposures on the tripod and try to combine them.

If you can't control your light you don't have much choice except what's already been discussed.

my suggestion would be, using a tripod take a photo at 1/30 through 1/200 while keeping the aperture the same. This will give you your high dynamic range of light. You will have a lot more to play with in the end. If 1/200 is still to bright then speed it up. You can never take to many shots. This is a great learning experience.
