My 50 f/1.8g was stolen last autumn in San Francisco - I wrote about it a while ago: somebody broke into my friend's car in the park and took my bag with a couple of lenses and small stuff while we were shooting. ( and I was stupid enough to leave my cell phone there as well - that was the worst part)

So, yes, nifty-fifty is the one lense I am missing since. But I live in England, so probably the shipping cost was not worth it... and I am on fence atm thinking if it is worth jumping off the Nikon bandwagon..
