i have this used little over a year. Bought it brand new on a shooting day my DSLR camera slip from my hands and drop four inches into my bag below. This lens plastic got a crack where the metal corner of the film camera connected. The focus and sharpness haven't been effected in the slightest. i have tested and also showed near repair store. you can see pictures currently The crack has been covered with painters tape (non sticky) for pictures and it's never been an issue. Now its is been replaced with Gaffer Tape (Permanent Fix).
