Nikon D300s vs D700

IMO if you are willing to spend the money go for the D700. it will have less limitations but if you want to spend less and get some more glass id go that route as well. They are both excellent camera's.

Take advantage of that lens and go with the D700, it may be older but it easily beats out the D300s in every way

Except the hd video on the D700 isn't nearly as good as the D300s.

It doesn't have video.

Aren't you gonna have to change your lenses too. That can get very EXPENSIVE!
