Nikon D50 Compatible Memory

Im looking to pick up an SD memory card for my D50 and I am curious what exactly the camera can handle? Awhile back I tried a 4GB card and the camera would not recognize the card. I looked online and could not find exactly what I wanted.

So....does anybody know exactly what this camera can handle?

Sounds like you had a bad gig card I have the D70s and it will handle 8 and 16 gig cards.
be sure to format the card.

Which doesn't help since the OP has a Nikon D50, http://www.sandisk.com/Compatibility/Device(2774)-Nikon-D50.aspx which only works with 2gb cards max.

The D50 isn't HCSD compatible so it can take SD cards up to 2GB.
