Nikon D70 vs. D100

I was looking to purchase either a Nikon D70 or D100 and I noticed that a few people on the forum currently own the Nikon D70, but haven't seen any D100's. I was wondering why that model was chosen over the D100 by everyone. Any comments would be appreciate it. Thanks!!

I imagine Nikon will come out with something to replace the D100 in the near future. The only thing it really has above the D70 is a metal body. If you need a sturdy body and have Nikon glass, I would go with the S3 Pro.

STURDY? If you are that worried about breakage, buy two D70 bodies, that way you can have a spare.
