Okay, I understand. The price sounds a bit too high to me, based on my area, but I have no idea what part of the world you're in (other than the EEC somewhere) nor what used gear goes for there.

A major factor in determining price would be how many pictures have been taken with it. The shutter in that camera is rated for 150,000 shots.

Also, that lens is for crop sensor cameras so it would not be an ideal pairing

Great point. I shot that lens on a D700 once because I needed a mid-range zoom and it's all I had. It didn't work out so well.
