Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Out of the blue, AFAIK I haven't changed anything on the camera or the computer.

The card can be read with images shot on my D500 and the card I was using in the D500 does the same thing in the D7200.

I can view the images in camera but once inserted into the computers card reader it shows as folder is empty....

Tried formatting the card both in camera and in computer, no change.

I don't have the cord to connect the camera directly to the computer or another card reader But the computer recognizes images from the D500 just fine with both cards.

So it must be a camera issue ?

Suggestions ?

Cheers, Don

I've had the same issue a number of times over the years and it was the card reader. I simply connected the camera to the PC (albeit you don't have cord) or got a new reader. Problem solved for me on every occasion.

Okay, but :)

The reader recognizes images from both cards from the D500 but not the D7200 ?

Cheers, Don
Ah, my bad I mis read that. Still worth a try with a different reader or connect direct to the PC/Mac tho.

Is the D7200 a new camera
I had the same problem when I changed to the canon 5d mk4
My software would not read the newer 5d files/images
I had to upgrade my software (from windows 7)

No, purchased used a year ago and no issues, till now..

Problem solved !

And it was me, sigh... Itt sucks getting old.

Both cameras have dual card slots.

I use the D500 a lot more than the D7200. On the D500 the SD slot is the bottom one.

Having a senior moment and trying to read the SD card in the bottom slot on the D7200, duh...

And the universe paid me back for my lapse, as I was putting the card back in the camera it literally fell apart in my hands.

Oh well, probably six or seven years old :)

Cheers, Don
