Hello, I am still a noob here:). Was just wondering what kind of Nikon f 1.4(if any) lens would be compatible with an F100 camera? Would the 1.4d lens be ok? Or would I have to go with a manual, if there is a manual f 1.4? What kinds of f 1.4 lenses are there in the Nikon line? And price ranges? Sorry I am a noob to Nikon and lenses! Thanks!

All Nikon 50mm f/1.4 with a aperture lenses will work with the F100

THANKS GUYS! You are so awesome!

Even G mounts will work on a F100 (modern dslr design was copied from the f100), the only lenses that you should avoid are crop sensor "DX" lenses.
By golly, you are correct sir. I didn't bother reading and made assumptions about the missing aperture ring.

Look down in the chart for your F100

Thanks again guys, I decided to go with a cheaper f 1.8d lens for now until I can afford something else:). Hopefully, this will fit this camera, right? lol. Hope so!
