Nikon F5?

Thinking about getting a Nikon F5, along with bellows, a slide back (? - can I get a medium format slideback or something along those lines?), and possibly an AF 50mm lens. Thoughts?

Slide back ? No such thing. Slide film loads the same as any other 35mm. There may be a bulk film back though (?)

Data back - not to be confused with a digital back..which is a large format digital sensor.
Data back allows you to data stamp the image. Time, D/M/Y, location.

BTW Rombouts Ethiopian Moka Sidamo. Not bad but best blended with some Illy.

Well, here's how I look at it:

If I google it, I will find reviews (which I have looked at). However, asking specific questions to people who generate thoughtful responses is more beneficial to me than reading a general post about the thing that may or may not include the information I am looking for. Plus, I don't consider it 'lazy' to ask people about things on a photo forum - when you get right down to it, it really isnt much different than google. Especially in a learning environment such as this. So good job for having patience ^^


Tell me this - Is it worth it to get this? I already have a Nikon FM, which I suppose I could get a bellows/slide back for..

Well I knew that, but it's those conveniences that would lead me to purchase the camera. What extra features (notable ones) does it have?
