Nikon Lens Adjustment/Repair

I have a Nikon 80-400 VR zoom lens that I love and is a staple of my wildlife photography. I almost always use manual focus and over time the focus ring has become "sloppy" or loose, requiring some finesse to get the focal point I want. Question: Does anyone know of a good, Nikon certified/authorized technician that can "tighen up" manual focus (or is that even possible)? Would probably also have lens cleaned etc. Thanks for your help!

The can do everything you want and specialize in Nikon gear. Give them a call.

If you go through Nikon directly, you can created a workorder, ship your lens to them, and they will either repair or send back to you with your approval. I sent in my SB600 speedlight and got it repaired and returned in 2 weeks.
