Nikon Lens Price Jack?

Supplies are constrained. Economics 101.

*ding*

Speaking of which, I have a 70-200 2.8 VR2 here... only used twice. $2900. :)

Ill trade you this for it.

I think this would be a fair trade, but unfortunately mattxmosh your pic doesn't adhere to the beloved "Rule of Thirds".

Come on man...you know better than that.

No just some are unavailable. Bh isn't going to jack prices like that.

35mm 1.8 went from $200 to $300.

That was going to be one of my next lenses.. I'm getting a 50mm 1.8 for $100.. I'll wait until prices come back down on the others...

If you don't mind me asking, where is it for $100? I was thinking about picking it up, but everywhere I look its gone up to about $130 minimum.

The Nikon 50 mm f/1.8 has been $120 - $130 new at reputable sellers for a couple of years now.

Camera equipment price are always going up, because the price for materials and the wage paid to workers is always going up.

Or perhaps get on the next flight to Canada

As long as gravy isn't mandatory for all orders of french fries I'm there.

 pshhh!
I love me a good poutine! Mmm!

Here in Montreal (CAN), I can only find it for 170$ (incl. taxes) locally. Tss!
