Nikon lenses on Pentax camera

Apparently Nikkor lenses work just fine on a Pentax SLR (image sent by a reader).

That would be an extremely cool feature, but how is that possible ? That would give these Pentax SLRs access to a ***load of lenses and make their cameras a much more interesting option.
