Well, 2009 has started with a few dives so that's already an improvement over 2008! The nudibranchs are everywhere again and we have even found TWO new (to us) ones in the last couple of days. Can't beat that.
Here's a little selection from the zillions we saw:
01 - Chromodoris fidelis
02 - Janolus sp
03 - Tambja morosa
04 - Cadlinella ornatissima
05 - mating & laying Chromodoris geometricas
06 - hungry Moridilla brockii
07 - Flabellina exoptata
08 - Gymnodoris rubropapulosa
09 - juvenile Spanish Dancer Hexabranchus sanguineus
10 - our first new guy: Phestilla melanobranchia
11 - our second new guy thanks to my dive bud, Mary: Favorinus tsuruganus
That's a good start There are more in my Flickr stuff (KristinAnderson - sorry, new to it and don't know how to link it up), Facebook and in my blog
More photos from the dives coming soon ... enjoy!
