I think that's one great thing about having the user reputation feature on the new board. It gives people recognition when they deserve it. :mrgreen:

That might be true if the mods couldn't alter them at will, but as it is, they're kinda meaningless.

And like Mark said, I think people took this thread too seriously. Aside from celebrating the 'milestones' where do people ever talk about post counts or call people a spammer, unless it's a joke?

the "mods" cant alter them mindy.

and people need to lighten up. this thread was obviously tongue incheek. i dont think anyone on this forum actually cares about postcounts or thinks that anyone with a high post count is cool, so we dontreally need to be reminded of what is important.

the only time post counts are talked about are in joking. its all in fun.
