Noise reduction software?

I am thinking of purchasing Noise Ninja, but have no experience with it or with any other NR software. Is there anything like Noise Ninja that is free that works as well?

i use noiseware community edition and i think it does a pretty good job for free

Is it pretty user friendly? Like I said, I have no experience with anything of the sort so I would really just be figuring it out as I go.

I've used the Noiseware Community Edition stand alone version in the past and it's pretty easy to use. And it's not a all or nothing deal, you can do heavy duty noise reduction or mild noise reduction or adjust it for something in between. You just gotta watch when you're working on pictures with people in it...too much noise reduction will make the skin look like plastic and they'll look like manequins.

I see the plug in for CS3 is $49. Is the plug-in that much better than the noise remover that already comse with CS3?
