I like it. I could wish the sky had more figure in it. If you still want to fiddle with it try an orange or red filter.

It's a nice record shot. I'm just not sure about the comp. The wide open space on the left isn't adding anything to the scene. I personally think it might have been better centered and having the church fill the frame. I agree with Designer's sky comment. A red filter would have really made the sky and photo in general pop.

It feels a little flat and bright to me. If that's really what it looked like, well, great. If you pushed the lower tones down, you'd get more visual drama, for sure. Not sure if you'd like it better, or if it would be a better representation of the scene. I like the openness. It suggests a solitary structure in a vast emptiness, which is a good strong idea and feeling to portray.

I like the composition just the way it is, with the open space to the left. This is a very powerful image, and I think you just need to tweak it a bit to realize its full potential.

Try some filtering for the sky (don't over do it), tweak the tones as per amolitor's comment, and print it large.

PS: Don't lose the Cross in your tweaking.
