Northern Lights & Moon set.

Last Saturday evening many photographers were waiting around the beach if the sky would open up,Tourists leaving Iceland on Sunday morning, were all gone when a little window opened up some where around 02:00 for a very short time.
So finally when that happened i felt like dancing in the moonlight.

Nice experience.......We used to see them all the time in Northern Missouri, in the 50's early 60's. Sometimes they would cover the northern sky. I don't think I have ever seen this coloration by itself before....

Yes of course, - Canon 5D MIII & EF16-35mm f/2.8L II USM. Shot at 16mm, f2.8 at 10 seconds iso 2000, and processed in Lightroom 5.2
