Another one from my recent Shetland trip. Thought I'd try a minimalist landscape, and while I was up at Eshaness the expansiveness of the sea struck me.

There sure is a lot of water up there Pete. Both on lower level and coming from the heavens (usually).

There's a bit of barrel distortion along the horizon line, which on this occasion adds to the feeling of the expansiveness you mention imo. Yeah, like it very much.

Thanks mate, it's not all that often I see a bit of sea with nothing in it, (though you can just make out a tiny rig in the Clair oilfield I think). Something a bit different for me anyway.
