My Niece and I went for a stroll in our small town. She wasn't into the whole photo shoot thing. In fact her words were "my feet are bored" But after the first ten pictures she was "miss model" she loved it and didn't want me to stop. So here is just a few of my "practice" photos. She's sooo cute. I think you (and she) did a great job with #2 and #3. The b & w conversion was a nice touch. Very nice lighting on it.

They look too posed. I guess I just dislike seeing people up against walls with their head cranked 45 degrees. Unnatural.

I did a lttle editing so you could see they're nice shots. Just need a little PPing. I like the B&W, but would like to see just a little more of her face.

They're quick edits on small files, but on the originals, they could be made to look great. Good job overall, and she is a cutie. I'm thinking I might have gone a little warm on the first one...

NP. Kit lenses lack in contrast and sharpness, so I just did a little curves adjustment to make them pop a little more, sharpened some and added just a tiny bit of saturation.
