It's been raining for 24 hours straight as Central Pennsylvania is subjected to the remnants of Ida. Rivers/creeks/roads are flooded;luckily I'm not having any problems(yet). At the same time nature's cycles must be obeyed by those creatures who's intellect is tied to them. It's time for the fall migration of the Ruby Throated Hummingbirds with the males leaving first(they are the first up in the spring also). The rain's not making much of a problem for them, at least, as they hit my feeders constantly to get fueled up for their incredibly long journey. Not the best pictures, what with the lighting, the angle
and the speed of the birds, but hopefully they get the point across. You'll notice the birds are all males
