I use one of these and I love it cos it isn't trendy, doesn't stand out, and has rapid access and a rain hood. I've also dropped it a lot and the padding has done me proud...

I just got the Crumpler Super Snipe. They are just great............... Well worth the money... Ahem!

Get them from ebay for half the price. I got mine for £22 ($35-40 ???). Brand new and less than half the price.

Anyone else in the Crumpler gang?

I have a crumpler Formal Lounge

Pros:
It looks like a school pack (might reduce theft)
Just the right division between photo space and other stuff space

Cons:
Looks like a backpack (not terribly professional)
The zipper for the main compartment is on the underside of the shoulder straps so you pretty much have to take the pack off to get into the main compartment. The photobag can be accessed from the outside.

I use a Crumpler Shrinkle backpack for plane rides because it'll carry the camera gear & the 'puter.

I've gravitated to the Lowepro Street & Field system for when I'm actually out taking pics. I like it because it's modular & you can alter it to fit what you need to carry, instead of dragging everything you own to the field all the time.

And I hate digging in a camera bag for stuff when I'm shooting, plus with the vest I'm not lopsided from carrying a big bag on one shoulder.

I have the formal lounge bag and wouldn't trade it for anything! It's quite comfy especially for those with back issues. It can hold a laptop, two cameras, lenses, and whatever else you want. If you're a college kid you'll get lots of compliments on your sweet pack, and it works very well for traveling. Took it to Asia in an airplane and packed all over with it for weeks and it protected my camera through everything!!! They should pay me for reviews this good

Well, I got my Customary Barge in today, and it's great! It holds all of my camera stuff, a laptop, an iPod, and a bunch of other stuff too, and is quite comfortable.
