I've just joined tpf today and this is my first post in the landscape section.taken during a recent assignment to munich.taken from icy perch which almost had me slide into the same waters i was shooting

I love the saturated colors and contrast. The horizon seems to be bugging me a bit. It looks a bit tilted to the right.

agree with Matt on the horizon tilt....easy fix in PS.
As for the shot it is very peaceful and I like the toned down colour palette. the birds are great!

Funny to be stumbling across your first photo on here (may not have been the first you posted, but it is the first that I see, after having "met" you in the Welcome and Introductions Forum) and while you are from India, this photo was taken in Germany!

Very quiet ... can't say I have ever been to that place myself. It's quite far down south.

Let me tell you a little secret about this picture. the most difficult part was waiting ages for one of the two silly sleeping swans to wake up and raise its head! to top it all i was standing on ice with normal shoes and despite the sun the temp was sub zero! for an indian thats like sitting in your freezer with the meat!
