Thanks for the feedback! You may be right. I composed it with the fence post intentionally as a visual counterweight to the tree. Seems to be something I do, compose with elements others would have left out. That's where my eye goes. Appreciate the perspective, I'm very open to it and here to learn!

I would also crop out the fence post. Then I'd crop out some of the hill at the bottom. Finally, I think a little more contrast would be nice. Hope this helps!

I would like to see more tonal separation between the ground and sky.

Thanks, and agreed. I tried to do it in PS with the Black and White adjustments when I converted it, but I was getting a hard line at the edge–looked pretty fake and obviously manipulated which I don't care for. I'll have to work on technique to get that separation w/o the heavy post-processing push or get better at it.

The blue and the green are super close in value, not hue. What you see is pushed as far as I was comfortable taking it. Not arguing with you at all, just outlining why it didn't work for me this time.

Just getting started with all this and look forward to incorporating some of the suggestions and getting better as I go along. Thanks for the feedback so far everyone!
