OCF wired trigger. helpe please

Hey guy,

I've been lookign at coilcords to sync my SB-600 to my D40x, and most likely a D90 in the future.
I located this one on ebay: Off Camera I-TTL Flash Sync Cord for Nikon SB800 SB600 on eBay.ca (item 110520097671 end time 10-Jan-11 05:39:06 EST)
Just wanted to see if anybody had any other suggestions on sync cords.

A sync cord is handy if you're using a flash bracket, but for serious OCF, you will be limiting yourself. Yeah, I know it states 1.8M (5'-10 7/8"), but you'll never reach that length in the real world.

Hmm yeah I was just looking to get my flash off camera, and not burning a hole in my wallet like $25.00 if that really. I found another one.

Unless you REALLY need the TTF for some reason (and I honestly can't think of one), even cheap ebay radio triggers will give you TONS more capabilities.

If you are getting a d90 then you wont need these short sync cables. The pop-up flash on the d90 can be used as a cls commander for your sb600 as remote.

I have the exact same cord but for my Pentax. It didn't work. Also when they say its 1.8 meters thats when the curled cord is stretched out completely which I was not able to do just holding it let alone if it was attached to my camera. The real length of it is about 1.5 feet. I wouldn't buy it if I were you.
