Wow, those are great. I have been trying to shoot the moon but my camera is not good enough for photos like yours! Great job!
love the subtle colours
Nice shots.. I looked outside this morning, at 5 am and I think I could read a book in so much light!
Nice shots as always Eric!!! Cheers for sharing.!
the first shot is WOW!
the moon looks a little sad faced if you notice.
I LOVE that first shot!! What were your settings?
Here ya go
Focal length: 400.0mm (35mm equivalent: 600mm)
Exposure time: 0.0031 s (1/320)
ISO equiv.: 500
Handheld even!! Wow. Nice pics. I just never seem to get a moon shot that I'm satisfied with.
Nice shootin Airic.. Love em both.
did you do any howlin while you were there.
I really like the first here!!!
That full moon seems to have been a SPECIAL full moon (which totally hid behind a dense cloud cover here), everyone seems to have tried their hands on this moon ... "harvest moon" (don't know what that really means), close-ups and other takes... and here I like the pink sky and the moon against it with the naked bush giving the frame some balance on the other side.
Is it a speciality of EVERY year's October full moon then?
For I remember I saw the moon this big (and in similar colours) last year on 16 October in Hamburg (and took its pic).
