Oh my goodness, this is absolutely beautiful!!! I took a few holiday shots, but they look NOTHING like this!

It is a very nice picture, but I was wondering if it would be possible to achieve a more realistic look of the lit tree in a darker environment? I am a total beginner and I did a few attempts, but so far hasn't been very successful. Basically, when I say a darker environment I mean a room during the night with either only the tree as a light source or with a small table lamp in the corner. I wanted to attach my picture, but it turns out I am not allowed as I have zero posts so far. Thanks.

Very nice capture, but it looks like a slightly overcooked HDR.
