background helps bring the eyes out. The eyes is what takes the shot. They are working hand in hand. The eyes could be a touch brighter though.

Very nice image; it might be this monitor, but the yellow channel seems a tad high to me.

Looks blue-green to me. Better check your WB. Also, if you set your profile preferences to "My Photos are OK to edit" someone can show you our version of the WB.

FWIW: the left side appears to be lit by fluorescent light.

Still, I am able to pull out a much better WB than the original.

I think you got a winner here. I would have liked to see her a little brighter. Maybe some larger catch lights in the eyes, but that's being pretty picky. You captured this little girl very well. Beautiful pic.

Hey, you may not have noticed that this person has their photos set to "NOT OK to edit". I know you may not agree with other's decision not to let people edit their photos, but you should still respect that decision.

I like the expression and sharpness ... the color, as others noted, seems off. Clipping the elbow is slightly distracting ... but the elbow is just a nit. Thanks for sharing ... the image made me smile back.
