Brilliant....really love the first one - got a sort of 'out of space' feel to it!! Making me rethink my recent attempts......going to try and come up with a different twist ..

What kind of oil do you use? I can never seem to get the mixture right - I'm starting to think I'm using the wrong oil. I've been using olive oil, just cause that's what I have on hand...

Today I used corn oil. I also tried using it in vinegar. Vinegar seemed to work better then just water. It took awhile for me to figure out the right amounts...lol I had to keep swooshing the dish around to separate the oil. That was a bad thing though.....I ended up w/ lots of little bubble then.

No food coloring. I used my sons I Spy book underneath my glass.
