Ok To Post........

I posted my new website in the Introductions forum, how ever the traffic to my site is present , but somewhat marginal. I do nite painting with flashlights and theatrical gels and have around 60 pictures and it takes time and hard work. I lite up old relics for a final review before a a tear down...........I was hoping to post my site in this forum and hopefully have everyone hit it once... This way I can say I got some views. ......as working as a photographer can be time consuming and difficult as most here know............Is it ok to post my site (Night Photography) here once and perhaps have everyone hit it once.........Please post and let me know, I do not want to violate forum rules.........

Why don't you just put it in your signature then it's on every post you make?

Most of us who are on this site regularly have seen it in the introductions forum.

The beginner's forum is not intended for C&C on photos. Please don't post photos in the beginner's forum.

You can already say you've got some views, and it is about the same number of views that viewed your post in the introductions forum.

Why not post on socialist media to get more views?

Posting the same post on more than one forum constitutes "cross posting" and is not allowed.

I think the rules here are that if you want Critique on your photos to post a few photos here and NOT to reference a link/website.

If you want a bunch of us just to go to your website just so you get plenty of hits or likes or whatever ... count me out.

I think in a few years if you keep at it you'll look back at the beginning stuff and wonder what in the world you were doing ==> Old Relics Light up for a Final Review Site...............

Also, Just don't trespass and burn down a historic landmark.

Okay... here's the deal OP: If you'd like critique on your WEBSITE, you're welcome to post a link to it in the "Personal & Professional Websites" forum. If you'd like critique on individual images, by all means, post them in the appropriate gallery forum. A maximum of four images is recommended for best results. You may also, as mentioned, include a link to your website in the signature area of your posts by amending your profile.

TPF is NOT here to serve as a means to generate traffic to your website. If you want more traffic on your 'site, spend more time on SEO and money on advertising... that's what I do.

And, since I don't think there's any new advice that can be given here, I'm going to lock this thread.
