Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I have been asked to take couple photos at a MADD fund raising dinner. These will be "studio" "posed" shots. It is a black tie event, so also a good opportunity since hubby/wife/girlfriends/whatever, are already dolled up.
I am going to be donating half of the price to MADD.

I have a backdrop stand, a roll of white seamless paper, and my camera and of course my sb-600, a shoot thru umbrella and bounce umbrellas.

What I need is I think a different backdrop, maybe muslin? or fabric?

What do you guys suggest? It will be elegant, formal.

Don't show up drunk. I hear they get a little pissy about that.

Will there be a full bar?

I'd suggest just using a white backdrop. It would be clean and elegant. Muslin is just kind of bleh when paired with classy attire.

You also need a laptop and dye sub printer to print at the event, people always buy when they are drunk alot of money can be made at these events

Black tie event. White back drop can be any material exposed correctly. Muslin can be purchased in wider width. I would suggest white board for base. Can be wiped off.
You can use the paper but would suspect it harder to transport unless you tear off just the length needed.

See if you can rent.

I like that grey one.
I still need to light it properly.
I am thinking the standard hair light and two side lights?
Need to practice.
