I have been helping out a forum member out you all know him by JRE313 and he sent me some files to process. He sent me 7 exposures but I only used 5. I thought I would share this image with you all and I am sure he will chime in and give more details to what he did and how he shot this.

I happen to like the processing I did and am proud to help him and post this beautiful image. He is really coming along with this HDR and I wanted to give him props on his shots and not take all the glory. I just happen to process it.

regardless of you editing them, he clicked the shutter, so I'd bet you're going to catch flack from some people here for posting this image? Did he give you explicit permission to do so?

I love the shot, and the processing. And I could care less that you posted it here, but there are others who will yell at you for posting it here without being the one who took the shot. I'm just giving you a heads up.

i have seen lots of image edited by others posted with the results. Why would this be different?

Just curious not trying to stir the pot,.

Because generally they are posted as responses in a thread and not as a new thread

I see your point. Yes i did shoot this photo, and yes I did give vipgraphx permission to post.
I needed some help with this photo because the car is so, BLACK. It was a little difficult to bring out the details in the car
I will post my version someday this week. The car is called 1937 Cord B12 Convertible BTW

ah, thanks.

I am commenting on the photo. I dont give a damn who posted it. As for composition, Id like to see more space under the wheel. When framed youre going to lose even more of it. It would be nice to see the bottom of the wheel just touching the matte when framed instead of getting lost under it. Other than that love it. As for the processing, to me, its perfect. Im seeing nice details on the windows reflected off the hood and seeing enough of the dark areas that Im interested in seeing. Great collaboration.
