it's a cool concept, you just need a better background imo. and it'd be better if you blurred the background...

yeah the background is distracting, I was going to blur it out but I just never got to it >.< I'll do that now C: thanks for commenting

just a suggestion but try shooting these outside or something, maybe set it up so its like part of a trash pile waiting to be picked up... but of course not a cluttered, distracting trash pile. that is if you don't mind risking your records. and shoot with a wider aperture to blur the background and foreground a bit just a suggestion though.
