Had you the chance to work the shot, you could have explored
just the hay in front of the darker door… very vivid contrast!

Watch out for contrasting sections of the entire image ... if you did not mention the door I would have not noticed it because of the highlights in the plants around it.

Burning the bright areas ... some dodging on the dark wood ??

Black and White should be contrasty and the slight sepia tone adds to the old wood. A little more detail in the wood door would make it stand out. Very good I like it!
