Found this when looking for some examples of pictures taken with a 2mp camera in response to questions in another topic.

Any comments?

The picture was taken in Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountains (one of my favorite places to hike).

IMHO: nice sky but too dark. I would sugest a greater zoom to minimize the dark levels (esp. at the bottom)

he, small world. i was in Cades cove years ago. 'tis a lovely area.

tough shot- wouldn't play with levels on this because the amount of black pixels here is too great - will probably result in lack of contrast and screw up the colours.

I know telling you to go back to the area and reshoot the shot might not be to helpful so my suggestions:

1. Crop about 1 cm from the top
2. Crop about 4.5 cm from the bottom.
3. Dodge the the 2-tier of mountains slightly - just enough to make the delineations stand out more.
4. Try just a tad more saturation - not too much though the muted colours here are nice.

hope that helps!
