No weird lends flair the OP took a photo of the moon and merged it with a photo of someone on the beach during the day.

The lighting of the waves and person simply don't match what you would get from a slim crescent moon. On a full moon you might see a shadow from a person like that but definitely not with a slim moon like in the photo.

Plus the moon is WAY to big making it look even more fake.
