Feels good the first time, don't it? It's different than being published on the innerwebs. You should get hard copies of it (them?) so you'll have something to look back at and say "that's where I started".

I've got copies of my first magazine (ATV Magazine), first newspaper and first community lifestyles magazine I was published in. I'll eventually get them framed and they'll hang with all the picts I've taken over the years and gotten autographed by the rider/drivers.

Yeah I emailed the coach who published it and he said he would be sending me 2 hard copies of the paper. Really sweet and amazing feeling though! It's probably late but grats on your publication too.

Even if you don't get them framed, it's fun to have them. I'm glad he's sending you two copies. I've got at least a couple of everything I've got in print. The feeling is awesome, but nobody will know what you're feeling unless they've been through it too.

Thanks. It's still fun for me to get published in print. The on-line stuff is getting pretty normal. I've got probably close to a thousand blogs, articles, how-to's etc published on line with my own images in most of it.

If fact, my writing has been the key to being a (somewhat) successful photog and what has ultimately made me five figures/year part time the last couple/three years. If you can write it's a great way to pay for all this expensive equipment! :thumbup:
