I very much like the first one. Love how the one guy is walking out of the frame and the other one is twisting around to keep talking... However, fill flash would have nice.

The second one is a nice set photo but doesn't talk to me as much.

The first photo suffers from jpeg compression artifacting which leads my eyes away from the main subject. Also the person bending down under the tripod does not look good with a monitor for a head.

The second photo has some great tones, however the big glowing light in the background, the light above the mans head on the left, combined with the blur in front of the 3 ladies makes for much distraction.

I like the first shot as well, maybe cropped on the right side and made to be portrait.

What is also funny about the first shot, is the guy bending down behind the guy twisting. It looks like his arm is around the waist of the twisting guy.
