After a bicycle ride, we were taking a rest at a landing-stage where I took these 3 photos. Hope you like em.

Taken with a Minolta Autocord twin lens reflex. Scanned from negatives.

Hey, good how you waited for that sailing boat to be RIGHT there before you took the first photo! A pleasing example of "converging lines" as compositional element.

I think I like the look through the gratings best, as the geometry of the gratings clash with the natural shape (and colour!) of the lily pads.

While I am a huge fan of backlit plants (in photos and in nature), here I feel there is too much sky and bright water. Very subjective observation, of course.
