...balcony outside the biggest and most important meeting room our university has. There were paintings of old headmasters on the walls, and a large oval table, and something about the King. It was awesome.

Everything in this image is a lateral line but you shot it in portrait aspect ratio.
The building is unfortunately OOF and there are lots of dust specks, etc.

This actually looks like an old film scan.

I think it's nice photo with full range of tones. I like the idea of reflection on the water. I don't see anything OOF, but I only use magnification supplied with the website. On the other hand it is hard to miss focus on infinity IMO. If Lew see some softness in the lines of building, surely it's caused by something else. The only thing I can say is, that the exposure was a bit short, sure, the sky is very nice, but the trees are without detail and there is a "black belt" in the front of building, also repeated in the reflection.
