Both are fantastic...I think I prefer the second one actually (the oddball once again). I love the light to dark happening, it's mysterious and quite beautiful

I love them both !! I have to agree with Nabero I like the second one better. I love the contrast from light to dark and that road is pretty cool in the pic.

Your a landscape genius ,,, To me, landscape pictures are hard. Is that weird? Its not like the mountain is going to move like a child.. BUT feel you have to have an eye for what makes an interesting landscape pic.. IMO

wow, thanks , that is quite a compliment! I would doubt the genius a bit though

one thing you need is the right light, and for that you might need patience, or be quick sometimes ... and you have to look around a lot because there is so damn much of landscape, and finding good framing is the big trouble

I like the first one...I like how the mountains are hard edged and crisp in the foreground, and seem to get softer (fuzzier?) as they go back...and I love the sky.

had some trouble getting down that mountain again since I stayed up there to take this sunset shot .. but it was worth it
