Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Hello Everyone !

This is one of my first HDR pictures and i dont know how to get rid of the grain on sky and i always get the grain or noise. I used AEB with -2 0 +2 ISO 100 and F11 ( i think ) and histogram looked as it should have looked so i dont know where is the problem, any suggestions please ?

Digital photos don't have 'grain', they have image noise.
Image noise is usually more visible in under exposed portions of a photo.
By necessity pretty much any landscape scene will have areas that will be underexposed even when using the HDR technique.

What image editing or noise reduction software do you have available?

What software did you use to blend the 3 exposures?
What file type(s) did you use to make and blend the 3 exposures?
Did you do any other post processing of the 3 exposures or of the blended HDR?

I'm seeing some posterization in the sky in that image.

Thanks for responding, i used Photomatix, i didn't use the RAW files cause i heard photomatix cant process them really well and when i tried to convert RAW into .tif, the pictures didn't maintain the exposure... i dont know how but my darkest picture looked like the normal one after conversion. After some tone mapping in Photomatix i use gimp to do the rest, i have no noise reduction software available though, i tried to use wavelet denoise for gimp but it just blurs the picture completely :(

By the posterize you mean the darker side of sky ? Any solutions for that ? :)

Yea I'm seeing that also. Many HDR softwares will cause that when an image is over processed or when you didn't bracket enough. It can be especially noticeable in the high lights and shadows.

I see it more in the lighter areas of the sky. If your not sure what the word means just hook it up.

I heard about posterization but i still can't see it... i am blind...

By the way, why always in my pictures one side of sky fades into darker color please ?

EDIT : I actually think for this one i used -3 -2 -1 0 +1 +2 +3, 7 pictures and i used deghosting feature cause the clouds were moving WAAAY too quickly.

I am by no means a pro, but i seem to have more noise the more shots i bracket even at a low iso. I generally try to stay between 3 and 5 shots for my brackets.

that actually still looks pretty cool. i gotta learn that someday.
cool photo.

Thanks bribrius :D

KmH, does that mean that what i was calling "Grain" is actually the image posterization ?
And why were you asking for what program i use and stuff like that ?

EDIT: Yeah its actually posterization, gonna read the link you sent here :D
